Here She Comes

The idea for this sculpture comes from a seed pod found in the forest near the Tea Gardens in Shreemongol in Bangladesh. After the seed pod dried, the at first bit boring pod transferred into an interesting open shape. The artist developed the fascinating form further and used the two curled parts separately.  One part delves into the ground, the other part rises up as a women moving towards her freedom.
