Embracing Liberty

During the time Petra lived in Bangladesh, she had to face the fact that during part of these years there were terrorists in the country who specifically targeted foreigners. She and other foreigners were forced to lead a life indoors and to go out on the street as little as possible. Because her studio was located in her residential apartment, she was able to continue making art.

Embracing Liberty is made in these heavy years, and expresses the need to look forward to live in a safer place then Dhaka was during those years.
