The sculptures from the series Focus on the Lotus will be exposed in this weekend of the preview.
Each of the sculptures shows parts of the incredible beautiful plant of the Lotus, which is the national flower of Vietnam and can be found everywhere in the country from north to south. Instead of focussing on the flower itself the artist concentrated on its leaves, the stam, the roots and the seedpods and everything in between. The sculptures as a whole represents the blooming of the Lotus in a different way than a viewer usually observes.
Before going to the public exhibition in the Metropol in Hanoi Petra invites altlovers and friends to come to the preview of the exhibition in her own residence.
