Venus

Petra got this commission from a good friend in Hanoi who asked her to make a special sculpture for his wife. She is one of the most elegants ladies Petra knows and is the source of inspiration.

Floating on a lotus leaf the work reminded Petra of the Venus of Sandro Botticelli, which is a Venus coming from the sea standing on a shelf. Since this sculpture stands on a lotus leaf, the work got the name related to this marvelous painting from Botticelli.
